Inspired by Leonard Cohen’s intriguing poem of unfinished sentences, When Even The is a magically meditative solo which explores the field of energy between her vibrating body and an inanimate presence.
Clara Furey explores the sensuality of the dead and the living, the memory of touch, as well as absence through sensory and sensitive choreography. She places a mirror before our perishable bodies, offering us different perceptions and incarnations of decomposition. A myriad of identities pass through her, achieving a state which oscillates between tension and appeasement.
